It’s been one month since Hope Rises came together with the community to make a sleepover party wish a reality for a very deserving woman.
Ryan Kania is a warrior in many ways – not only is she an incredible mother to 1-year-old Mason, and wife to Brian, she has also touched thousands of hearts around Western New York.
So cruelly, advanced cervical cancer has robbed Ryan’s freedom of life, but it has not robbed her of her powerful strength, her unwavering courage and ultimately the love she has for those in her life.
Just weeks ago, Ryan’s wish for a grand sleepover party came true, thanks to the generous Mr. Russell Salvatore, and his team, including sleepover party organizer, Manny Lezama.
Not only did Ryan and her guests receive dinner, they were also treated to the second floor of the hotel with treats and gifts to go along with the elegant treatment. Adding to the magic, droves of supporters – some who didn’t even know Ryan – came out to sing Christmas carols. The carolers stood outside of Ryan’s hotel room window to embrace her with love and comfort. Many were brought to tears over the unforgettable moment.
Ami Jiang, Ryan’s sister, recently provided Hope Rises with an update that her sister is in need of our love and prayers. Hospice has been called to Ryan’s side and she is under their care. Our hearts are shattered, but we are not losing hope. We believe in miracles, and we believe in the power of love and positivity.
Please join us in showering Ryan, and her family with prayers and vibes of strength, as she continues to fight. Together we #RALLYAROUNDRYAN and we hope you join us, too.
