This billboard, which sits along a busy freeway near the home of Kani and Rene Tucciarone in the Buffalo, NY community, is one of desperation. Rene put it up, thanks to Lamar Advertising, in hopes of finding the perfect match for his wife, Kani – a woman he loves so dearly.
“I first started dialysis in 1989 when lupus took my kidney funcation,” says Kani. “After years of asking, Rene was finally able to be my donor. But, rejection of the donor kidney lead to more dialysis in 2009.”
Kani is fighting for her life. She needs the perfect match. Can that be you?
